Update: “BABY MAVEN WANTS TO THANK YOU-ALL FOR YOUR KIND HEART”

We are looking forward to a very nice day today! Baby Maven, the little warrior is going home.
Thanks to ALL BIG HEARTS WHO HELPED HIM & US IN THIS BIG BATTLE. Touching as it was, thousands of good men & women all over the world, known & unknown to us, silently responded voluntarily and gave love in any small ways they could – to snowball this MIRACLE to happen. We salute you and we will never  ever forget you in the entirety of our lives.
Three months ago, it was an impossible dream. Hopes were nil. The only thing possible was prayers. Yes, prayers – what else? But GOD operates in strange ways. He enlightened the minds of Buboy & Hannah to have this love campaign at FB. And it came. The baby had been operated on and he is now recovering. God made it happen through the big hearted men & women in you! Thank you guys for being made the instrument of God in delivering this Miracle.

GOD IS GOOD. Thank you LORD.

Join me in Thanksgiving prayers. Amen.

I’ve been reading a lot of comments, liking, responded to some. I even haven’t checked my private messages yet. Wow! It’s just unbelievable that Maven has this huge support from family, friends, distant relatives, and even people whom we don’t know. Thank you Lord for all of them. They gave us comfort and we felt your presence through these wonderful people. Bless them with whatever their heart desires. Little Maven, you’ve touched a lot of hearts! We love you!

MAVEN’S UPDATE:
We have reached our fundraising goal in less than 3 months because of all the kindhearted people who cared for baby Maven. So we would like to thank you all for giving, sharing and helping us in this endeavor. With that, we can give Maven the best and that will be at St. Luke’s. However, this is just the start of another chapter of Maven’s journey. Below is the list of what’s next:
To-dos before THE day:
1. RAISE P200,000 BUFFER FUND:
Initially our options for the hospitals were St. Luke’s or Chinese General Hospital because these were the only institutions that our chosen surgeon can operate in. Sometime last week, Boboy and I were already discussing that we might end up with Chinese General Hospital due to the budget constraints. We wanted to make sure that there would be enough buffer fund for the unexpected. But with the recent loss of Alexa, the 1-month old baby who just had her open-heart surgery 3 weeks ago, it scared us. So, we decided to go for St. Luke’s. Why St. Luke’s even though it’s very expensive? Because they are the only institution in the Philippines that has the TEE.
What is TEE?  TEE stands for Transesophageal echocardiography. A diagnostic test which employs ultrasound waves to make images of the heart chambers, valves and surrounding structures and which is done through the esophagus.
TEE may be used, for example, in the treatment of children having heart surgery. TEE has unusually accurate imaging capabilities that permit the identification of previously unidentified anatomic features and postoperative surgical results that may necessitate a change in surgical plan or surgical revision before the child leaves the operating suite. This gives the surgeons and doctors additional eyes while doing the operation. And this machine basically requires us to go for St Lukes and a higher budget.
2. FIND AT LEAST 4 O+ DONORS.
Donors will be screened and processed in Manila. If you are from Cebu, we appreciate your volunteerism, but this will need to be done in Manila. If you are willing to go to Manila, the more we would be appreciative of you. But to be practical, we are looking for donors who are Manila-based already. We will be needing the donors by July 24.
3. FIND A PLACE NEAR ST. LUKE’S QC FOR OUR THINGS
We are looking for a place where we can put our things for safe keeping while we will be watching over Maven at the hospital especially during the day of his operation and the recovery. By the time he will be roomed-in, we will be in the same room as he is, so during that time, we will not be needing a separate room already. The place we’re looking for is basically for our things during the first few days and a place for us to freshen up.
4. CONVERT DONATED ITEMS TO CASH
We would like to thank all who donated their pre-loved items to us. Unfortunately, we still have so many of these and doctors don’t accept items as payment. So, we need your help in moving these items by having people buy them in our garage sale. Next garage sale will be at Sto. Nino Village in Canoy’s Residence at Woodpecker St. this Saturday. Details will folllow.
5. PRAY DAILY FOR MAVEN’S SUCCESSFUL OPERATION AND RECOVERY.
We ask everyone to say a prayer for Maven’s successful operation and recovery daily. Let’s bombard the doors of heaven with our prayers for Maven.

From:  Maven’s Parents

Hannah Almira Ybanez Amora and Kristoffer Dominic Amora.

Baby Maven (6 months old), is the grandson of Dominico Amora (Doods Amora) and Merlita Rivas Amora (Mimi Amora). He is the second child of Kristoffer Dominic Amora and Hannah Almira Ybanez Amora.  He is now suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot a congenital heart defect which, when left untreated, leads to his heart failure. His doctor needs to fix his heart… the soonest or within the next three (3) months to avoid further complications. Help us gather the 1 million pesos Maven needs to undergo an open heart surgery. Our funds are limited so we are appealing to people who are truly blessed by God and are continually receiving blessings from Him.
Please share them to this little angel. His little arms are wide open to receive any donation, be it spiritual or financial. Your support will be appreciated and forever be remembered. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts….WE LOVE YOU BABY MAVEN….GOD LOVES YOU TOO!For those who would like to donate.
