  1. ask ko lamg po kung tama pinag gagawa samin ng amo ko at ang ginawa ng agency sakin. sabi sa contrata ko na approved ng Saudi at POEA is 8hrs per day 8-5pm sched with complete benefits tapos salary is 1900+300 pero natatanggap ko lang is 1700+300 mg babawas pa sila 100sr every month para sa placement fee na 2000sr tapos 10hrs per day 60hrs pee week kami at rate ko lang is 60sr lang saw ang pasok namin is broken pa 8-12 saka 4-10pm, kinuwa nya din passport ko sabi nya kasi ganito daw dto pero anlinaw sa PDOS na hindi dapat ibigay saka pina pirma ako ng contrata na Arabic lang na walang english. at sabi nya wala daw sya alam sa contrata na dala ko na approved ng saudi pero papel nila ito kasama address at lahat ng details na dapat matanggap ko is andto naka sulat ano po gagawin ko kasi maling mali po ng yari sakin sobra abuso ng saudi na amo ko sa oras at sahod,

    • Hindi po tama at maraming paglabag ang employer ayon sa iyong salaysay.

      Puwede kayong dumeretso sa Saudi LAbor office at mag file ng complaint, puwede rin kyong pumunta sa POLO office dala ang lahat ng inyong mga dokumento at salaysay na nakasulat sa papel. Lahat ng detalye sa inyong employer, like name of the company, manager or owner and address at contact phone numbers ay nakalagay sa inyong sulat. Kung marami kayo, pirmahan ninyo lahat.

  2. Good day to you, Sir/Madamme! Natapos ko na po ang 2 years contract ko sa pinapasukan ko now. And the bakery I worked for is now under a new management after it was sold to a Saudi proprietor. And I am absorbed by the new owner. My question is this. Aside from the one month salary equivalent amount that I must recieve from my former sponsor, am I also entitled to a equivalent amount for a one way airfare? Although I need not to take a vacation because I am now working for a new ka feel? Thank you so much,in advance.

    • Yes you are as per Article 18 of the Saudi Labor Law.

      Article 18
      If the ownership of a firm is transferred to a new owner or a change takes place in its legal form through merger, partition or otherwise, the work contracts shall remain in force in both cases and service shall be deemed continuous. As for workers’ rights accrued for the period prior to the change such as wages or unrealized end- of- service award on the date of transfer of ownership and other rights, the predecessor and the successor shall be jointly and severally liable. However, in the case of transfer of ownership of individual firms, for any reason, the predecessor and the successor
      may agree to transfer all the previous rights of the worker to the new owner with the written consent of the worker. If the worker disapproves, he may request the termination of his contract and collect his dues from the predecessor.

Dear sir/mam hingi po sana ako ng payo, tungkol sa employer namin dito sa abha ksa, bale 2 months na po kami dito, pero hanggang ngayon e wala pa naming iqama at insurance card, under probationary period pa po kami,, pede po ba na tapusin na lang namin yung probationary namin? Sasagutin po ba ng employer namin yung ticket pauwi ng pinas? O kaya nman po e release na lang kami, hanap na lang po kami ng bagong employer dito? Hindi po ba kami kakasuhan o babayarang danyos? Maraming salamat po…

    • Ang probationary period ay 180 days na ngayon or 6 months ayon sa amended Saudi Labor Law. Natural lamang na wala pa kayong iqama or insurance habang nasa probationary period kayo.

      Maaring kayo ang mag shoulder ng inyong ticket pauwi at hingan kayo ng kabayaran sa kanlang nagastos sa pagkuha sa inyo, kung pilitin ninyong umuwi na walang sapat na dahilan. Sa ganitong situwasyon, makipag ugnayan kayo sa inyong recruitment agency.

      Tungkol sa release, nasa diskresyon ng employer kung e-release kayo or hindi.
